With over 25 years of experience in operating various businesses in London and Hereford, Tracy gained immense financial knowledge during her time with a large chain of entertainment venues in the 1980's and 1990's, this is where she gained a specialist knowledge of managing pubs and clubs from front of house to behind the scenes. She was also part of a team who set up two very sucessful businesses in New York and Palma, Spain.
In 2004 Tracy set up her own limited company and joined forces with her sister Shirley to purchase a petrol station in Malvern, with Tracy's financial expertise and Shirley's experience of managing BP Connect Supersites, they enjoyed a successful business which they went on to sell to a chain of fuel retailers.
Not knowing which direction her career would take, Tracy was asked if she would help to sort out the paperwork and finances of a company which traded in the UK and South Africa, she took on the work and found great satisfaction in being able to help the director understand the financial reports, and give help and advice on the business. She found it very interesting gaining knowledge of how a different type of business traded and enjoyed learning of the skills and passion of the people behind the business. This is when she decided to set up TD Accounting and Payroll Services and began studying for the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification.
Tracy completed her studies in September 2007 and has been a Member in Practice since that time. She enjoys helping new and existing businesses maintain a good standard of office practice. Shirley has 30 years experience specialising in the Fuel Retail Industry, she qualified in 2005 with the International Association of Book-Keepers. Shirley is based in Malvern, Worcestershire and is a freelance consultant for fuel retailers, whether they are just setting up and taking over a new petrol filling station or want a complete overhaul of the business, Shirley can help on every aspect including health and safety and staff, she also offers emergency management cover.
